Our Aviation Training Packages adhere to all regulatory body standards and are delivered by fully qualified, DfT Certified Instructors, who have a wealth of training expertise and experience.

We offer classroom-based courses which can be delivered at our AVTAV Training Centres, at our client’s premises or via our e-learning platform.If you are a direct employer or agency labour provider, our training courses will ensure that staff are provided with the skills and training they need to effectively and compliantly carry out their role.

Our compliance monitoring technology ensures that training record updates are sent out regularly to ensure mandatory refresher training is monitored and scheduled for all personnel.It is a requirement of EU Regulation 2015/1998 and UK SCD (A) 2/2019 that the relevant background check is completed before training is given. Chapter 11.1.5 requires that a Background check shall be completed before the person undergoes any security training involving access to information which is not publicly available.

AT-Training

GENERAL SECURITY AWARENESS TRAINING (GSAT)

This course is for those who require access to Security Restricted Areas (SRA) and will be issued with an airside staff pass.

If other superseding security training courses have been completed, staff may be exempt from requiring GSAT.

OUR KNOWN CONSIGNOR COURSES

This mandatory training is for any company with Known Consignor Status under the Air Cargo Security Regime.

It is a requirement of EU Regulation 2015/1998 and UK SCD (A) 2/2019 that the relevant background check is completed before training is given. Chapter 11.1.5 requires that a Background check shall be completed before the person undergoes any security training involving access to information which is not publicly available.

  • Known Consignor Basic -KC BASIC (Modules 1-5)

CARGO AND MAIL (REGULATED AGENT) TRAINING

Our Air Cargo and Mail (Regulated Agent) courses cover all aspects of training required for those who have access to and are involved in the handling, screening, processing, and transportation of secure air cargo and for those responsible for the supervising and managing of these duties.

  • Training of persons implementing security controls for cargo and mail other than screening (in accordance with point 11.2.3.9 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998) (Formerly CO)
  • Training of persons implementing screening of cargo and mail not operating x-ray, EDS equipment (in accordance with point 11.2.3.2 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998) (Formerly COS (NX))
  • Training of persons implementing screening of cargo and mail operating x-ray or EDS equipment (in accordance with point 11.2.3.2 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/ 1998) (Formerly COS)
  • Training for persons directly supervising persons implementing security controls (supervisors) (in accordance with point 11.2.4 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998) (Formerly CS)
  • Training for persons with general responsibility for local implementation of the NASP (Site Security Representative) ( in accordance with point 11.2.5 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998) (Formerly CM)

HOLD BAGGAGE RECONCILIATION

This course is a DfT requirement for any person employed to carry out the activity of implementing baggage reconciliation
